Question:
If a restaurant charges a delivery fee who gets that money? The driver or restaurant? Should you still tip?

The restaurant gets the fee; I still tip the driver, but only on the pre-delivery/pre-tax total. So, if the total is $20 before tax and delivery, I'd tip $3.50/$4.

The delivery fee goes to the restaurant. I do still tip the driver 15%.

Delivery fees go to restaurant to assist in paying for delivery service. Drivers do not get fee. Yes, you should always tip 15%.

The restaurant gets the fee and will probably give the driver 50 cents for gas. you should always tip the driver if your food is on time and even if it's late. If your order is 10 bucks then 15% is only 1.50. whoop d doo! i'm a firm believer of the $5 tipping rule. i tip what i would liked to be tipped if i were delivering.

the money usually goes for gas either for the drivers personal car or for the restaurant's delivery vehicle. the only way the driver gets money for delivery is if they are using their own car.-so yes you should tip
