a great local place in portland is old town pizza, it's got a great old tyme feeling with big cushy couches too. you can buy by the slice or a pie. good salads and spirits as well. also hot lips is a place people absolutely love. of course there are the chain places, schmizza is always recommened and escape from new york is my fav. take out place. enjoy!

This may not be much help. When I was in college( a long time back) Mazzi's in Eugene and Corvallis(both college towns) had the best deep dish pizza anywhere. I don't know if Mazzi's is still around. It was family owned and operated.

well-I liked pizzacotto in the bend area. It looks like a fast food restraunt when you walk in but they have REALLY good pizza
