I like a variety of foods, so it doesn't matter what kind of food, just as long as it is good!

One of the hardest foods to get right is BBQ. I have not been to one in the Portland area (and I've been to quite a few) that has impressed me -and some have been down right bad. So, if you know of a great BBQ place, that would be awesome!

If you want a REALLY, special treat, go to Genoa. Very pricey, but a meal of a lifetime...

As far as BBQ, the second link provides a listing on Yahoo local for BBQ in the Portland area.

Have you tried Big Daddy's BBQ on SE Hawthorne? They have another place on N Lombard called Big Daddy's smokehouse (I'm pretty sure they are the run by the same people). Delicious. And Caro Amico makes some damn fine (yet a little pricey) Italian food. Its on Barbur, five or six blocks from PSU.

Portland Oregon or Portland Maine?

Both are on the coast, though,

so I reccomend eating seafood.

Ask a local where the favorite/best

seafood restaurant in town is

and they will give you directions.

Have fun!
