I no longer stay there, yet, down by the sea, far off from the tourist traps, seem around for a small little place with many autos, this be the situation for super seafood at a lifelike fee.

I don't know about Portland but well worth the few extra miles drive and eat at the Pier 11 in Astoria. Sits right on the Columbia River. Fantastic view and excellent food.

Ringside has the best steaks. Bread and Ink for breakfast.

There is a great sushi joint near the large theater downtown, near the Fox 21 outdoor camera. I can't remember what street it's on, but it's in the middle of the block and it looks like a little hole in the wall. It's either 8th 9th or 11th.
Catch great barbecue at Low BBQ on Tuesdays, it's easily Portland's best - it's all good, but the pulled pork is my pick! The other days the restaurant operates as Ken's Place and their food is good old American style and very tasty also... it's on SE Hawthorne Blvd.
Also for Cajun, try Montage under the Morrison Bridge on the east side. Choose jambalaya or catfish, and a side of old-fashioned macaroni.
For good Italian, go to Sylvia's Class Act, on Sandy Blvd. Classic southern Italian I like the spinach lasagne and the fettuccine.
And don't forget the Double-Double at In-n-Out Burger when you are on the go.
