This is a smoken blues bar right near the PSU campus. Very good live music. Great place to meet people...

Try Mestizzo Restaurant & Nightclub.. if you really want to get your groove on. This is the place for Dancing!!



Or TONIC LOUNGE if you just want to hang out and play some pool without the loud music. Good place to hang and talk.

Definitely the Cheerful Tortoise, but if you want to go a little further, Fernando's Hideaway is great...they have great Mojitos and Spanish Coffee

you shouldn't limit your self to just that area, you can hop the trolly and come closer to city center. my favorite bar? not even possible to narrow down, however, a nice classy place right on the trolly line is jakes grill, super awsome bar staff and a great happy hour.
